Catching up

One of the great things about going back to the same work area is that you get to check up on some of the previous sites that you've worked on before.

While it's sad to see that Camp Good Earth is no longer functioning...

the bare bones are still there in case it is again needed...

but we still have fond memories of our work days there and the people we served.

 Like Ms. Sonya, whose home is now complete...

and is bustling with activity...

and the animals next door, where Jack came from, are doing well too!

Our bench on Rampart is looking good...

 all of the floors came out nicely..

 the little office just needs a desk...

the kitchen is all finished and ready for appliances..

and best of all, there is a family ready & just waiting for financing to move in!

Over at Bunny Friends, all the citrus plants are in and the pathway is complete.

At Ora's house, all that wonderful wooden trim work that was so carefully saved back in April is being painted and put back up by another volunteer group.

Little by little we are doing our part to help people rebuild their homes and their lives.

It's a great feeling!
